Sierra Gold Chorus' - Open House on Monday, 6:30 PM, January 23, 2012, at Burback Hall, DeWitt Center, 11577 E Avenue, Auburn, CA. Sierra Gold Chorus is the local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style.

The Sierra Gold Chorus members, from Placer, Nevada and Sacramento county, share a love for music and singing barbershop harmony. As a member, you too can experience the exhilaration of performing and singing with the chorus. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and director(s).

The Sierra Gold Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events, county fairs and charitable functions. Sierra Gold Chorus recently entertained hundreds of people at the annual Christmas shows (pictured above) in Nevada City and Auburn, and will be preparing for the April Regional Competition in Reno, NV.
